Retreat Center Policy

Children

Please note the minimum age for workshops and spa services is 16 years old. 

Children are generally welcome, however we ask parents to take full responsibility of caring for their own child. At the moment, Museflower Retreat & Spa does not provide any baby-sitting or kids club service. If you are bringing any children, please specify their age upon reservation.

 

Pets

We love animals, however we do not provide any special facilities or food for your pets. Please let us know in advance prior your stay and we will try our best to make your pet stay comfortable.

 

Alcohol Policy

We do not serve any alcohol but many delicious drinks! Please refrain from bringing or drinking any alcoholic beverages in your room, as it may disturb your, as well as other guests’ detox and meditative progresses. If you would like to enjoy a drink outside, our Receptionist will be able to recommend a few places for you.

 

Drugs Policy

Any use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited on the premises. Any guests caught with drugs will be asked to leave immediately without any refund.

 

Smoking Policy

As a holistic wellness retreat, smoking is strictly prohibited in all guest and private residential areas of Museflower Retreat & Spa, including in the gardens. If you must smoke, we ask our guests to smoke behind the car park at our staff area.

Booking and Payment Schedule

~ The group rental rates offered are valid for 1 month from the time of inquiry. At the time of booking and inquiring availability, we are able to hold a group booking for 30 days without charge, unless the retreat date is less than 3 months away.

~ To guarantee the booking (one month after holding the booking free of charge), a Facilities Rental Agreement needs to be signed by both parties and a 10% non-refundable deposit is due. The deposit can be paid via bank transfer or paypal (credit card).

~ 30% non-refundable deposit is due 3 months prior to retreat dates during green season (April 1 – October 31) and 6 months prior to retreat dates during high season (November 1 – March 31) or with any exclusive rental bookings.

~ If the retreat is less than 3 months away, a 40% non-refundable deposit should be due upon signing the Facilities Rental Agreement.

~ Balance payment of 60% is due 14 days before retreat date via bank transfer or credit card.

~ 14 Days prior to retreat, the rooming list, group program, transportation details, and food preferences are to be provided to our Retreat & Spa.

~ Other expenses incurred after check-in can be settled by cash or credit card upon departure. Please notify us upon check-in which type of expenses will be settled by individual guests and which type of expenses will be settled by the group organizer.

At the time of booking and each payment schedule, an invoice will be issued with payment information including our bank account details for receiving the funds. Please note that we only accept Thai Baht in our bank account.

 

Handling Reservation

We offer two options with handling the group reservation:

Option 1: The host/organizer will handle all reservations, and will be the main contact person to coordinate all the bookings and program with us.

Option 2: We will handle the group reservation (direct booking with us) at an extra fee. Per each group participant booking, we charge 10% extra of the total daily rate per person.

Rental Cancelation Policy

Should you wish to cancel the retreat for any reason, the deposits received are non-refundable. However, with a min. of 30-days notice, all deposits can be used as a credit towards your future bookings, valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation.

Cancellation for less than 7 daysNo refund in deposit, plus a cancellation charge of 100% of the entire stay is charged.

Retreat Promotion

We are happy to place your retreat information complimentary on our website, blog, social media, and send it out to our guests through our monthly e-newsletter. We can also place flyers in the Retreat & Spa provided by you.

Please inform us upon confirmation of event if you would like us to do so, and send us the relevant text and promotional material in advance.

Group Room Rate

We are pleased to offer two types of group rental rates as below. Group rental rates are only applicable to groups over 10 people and up.

We also offer a special room rate for Host Teachers and Organizers.

Fixed rate means that everyone shares a room with no single room request. Room types will be separated as Room with Fan or Room with A/C. Should there a request for single room, then a single room supplement will be charged.

  1. Room Package with Fixed Rate: Includes room and full board only. Applicable for groups where they already have their own program structured throughout the day.
  1. Complete Package with Fixed Rate: Includes room, full board and one wellness activity per day, such as Yoga, QiGong/Tai Chi, stretching, and more. Applicable for groups for leisure or groups who like to incorporate our wellness activities into their own retreat program.

*Please note that Museflower Retreat & Spa does not impose any service charge. If you are happy with the service provided by our team members, kindly leave them a gratuity at our Reception.

For non-exclusive retreat rentals, please note that Museflower Retreat & Spa can cater for 2 small retreat groups (about 10-12pax per group) at the same time.

One group can use the Meditation Pavilion, while the other group can use the Butterfly Room.

However, please note that retreats organized or hosted by Museflower Retreat & Spa will have first priority to use the Meditation Pavilion and other facilities.
