Discover Chiang Rai

Located in Thailand’s far north in the Golden Triangle where the border meets Myanmar and Laos, Chiang Rai is a lovely place to explore Thailand’s exotic hill tribe cultures, beautiful Lanna (northern Thai) temples, arts and crafts, and go trekking by foot or elephant in the misty green hills.

Chiang Rai is also full of surprising and non-touristic attractions. Some of our favorite activities are listed below. You can choose to join a tour with our local travel partner PDA, or to explore Chiang Rai on your own.

We encourage our guests to explore Chiang Rai during their stay.

We can help to arrange a taxi or minivan for a group of 10 or less people and make necessary bookings. Most places do not require a tour guide to go along.

Please contact us to help arrange sightseeing tours or transportation. For more information about Chiang Rai attractions, highlights and what to do, please read more here.
