Deep Rest with Yoga Nidra

Yoga nidra, also known as conscious sleep meditation, is the gentlest and most relaxing form of yoga (done only in Savasana or the corpse pose). It is said that ‘a 15-minute yoga nidra feels like an hour nap’. This rest meditation technique is systematic and as you immerse through a series of guided breath, body and awareness steps, you begin to feel tensions melt away and feel yourself move into a state of complete non-doing. All done effortlessly. Research studies have demonstrated yoga nidra to improve sleep, reduce stress, relieve chronic pain, improve blood pressure and cholesterol, improve moods and emotions, among many other benefits.
