9. Service as Co-Creation: My service, no matter how great or small, is a conscious act of co-creation with the world
November 2020 was very much a month of preparation for December to come. In a literal sense, November is when we start to get ready for Christmas and the holiday season in many countries.
There may have been partnerships, collaborations, and discussions in the last month to prepare for December, and now is the time to wrap up on that. Interestingly, with the layout of the card spread, it looks like November would have been a more social and active month than December.
November has also been a month calling us back “home”. Home, in this case, is within us. Like the birds in the card flying to the nest on top of the woman’s head, there has been a feeling of coming back to our center and to our true selves.
The waterfall behind the woman reminds me of the abundant and creative flow of Nature. When our intention and action are aligned with the flow of the Universe, we feel nourished and are filled with love. Perhaps in November we have learned or caught a glimpse on how to tap into this stream of love and Divine grace. It is time to continue strengthening our connection to this flow.
REFLECTION TIME
What have you co-created in the month of November?
Take 10 minutes today to celebrate your creations and acts of service the last month, no matter how big or small.
27. Quiet Nourishes Me – Quiet nourishes me. It connects me to the power of now.
Coming into December, we are being asked to let go of our “doing” and to focus more on our “being”.
Even though we may wish, including myself, that the holidays this year can still be festive despite the pandemic, this card is showing an important element of being quiet. A lot of cities are going back into lockdown this time of the year unfortunately. However, perhaps this card can present a different perspective.
How can we let the quiet and solitude nourish ourselves? How can we stay connected to the present, instead of getting hung up on the past like reminiscing last Christmas before COVID hit, or worrying about the future with so many uncertainties?
Though the message of the card is all about “quiet”, the woman in the card looks like she is flowing. She is connected to that stream of abundance and creativity mentioned in the last card, and knows how to be aligned and nourished from this flow within by drawing from her inner wellspring.
And despite all the darkness outside, she is surrounded by a rosy vibrant blanket. She knows how to protect herself from external influences, and to stay nourished in her cocoon. Her eyes are half open, so she is still connected to the outside world but not of it.
Within the darkness there are sparks of light if we look closer. Just like when we look up to the night sky, are we focusing on gazing at the darkness or the stars? There is no right or wrong with whichever you choose to look at, but in this case, I feel like the stars represent the inner lights within ourselves . This month we are asked to protect ourselves and nourish our inner light, and at the same time to see and acknowledge the light in others.
28. Power of My Voice – I speak my truth and express my feelings to others with care and compassion.
We are reminded to slow down and have some solo self-care time for ourselves in December. Through this inner stillness, we can now draw strength from our inner Soul’s voice and express our truth. What are your true feelings, and how can you express them with love and compassion?
When you speak your soul’s Truth, you shine your light like a powerful lighthouse. Your light becomes one of the beautiful bright stars in the dark sky, and it gives hope to others who may still be lost in the darkness.
Career:
How do you stand for yourself in your current workplace? Do you truly agree with what you are being asked to do, or are you doing it in fear of being judged? When we speak our soul’s Truth, it is filled with love and compassion. It is not the ego’s version of truth with a small t, when we think we are right or that others must agree with what we say. In fact, sometimes after we express our true feelings and thoughts, we may be humbled by others’ constructive feedback. Sometimes others may not agree with what we say, or may even feel threatened when we are shining our light. In this case, find a different community where your authenticity is valued and not judged.
Relationships:
Needless to say, communication is key in maintaining any loving relationships. Again, we may get confused on whether or not we are expressing our soul’s Truth or our ego’s version of truth. Are we hurting feelings, pointing fingers, or sending resentment with our words?
Be mindful of the words you use, to yourself and to others. I highly encourage you to learn more about “non-violent communication”, a model of communication that teaches us how to connect with others with compassion and authenticity.
Wealth:
What stories are you telling yourself about money? The stories may be unconscious or conscious. Often through these stories, we can uncover the truth about our feelings towards wealth and money. Do you feel guilt and shame in receiving money? Do you feel that money brings conflict and greed and violence? Are you angry or resentful of money? This month we are asked to examine if we hold any limiting beliefs regarding abundance and wealth. Be completely honest with yourself, and that is when we can start to rebuild a loving relationship with money.
WORK YOUR MAGIC
Sing a song – any song.
Singing or chanting is one of the best ways to express our voice. It doesn’t matter how well you sing. It doesn’t matter where you are singing at. It doesn’t matter what song. It can be a Christmas carol, a kirtan, Billie Eilish or the ABC song. Choose a song you love, and sing as loud as you can until your heart feels full. No one needs to hear you. You are singing it for yourself. Express your voice with love and joy. That is the truly spirit of “Rejoice”!
Magic to me, is to see and experience the extraordinary in the ordinary. I love this quote from the movie The Santa Clause, “Seeing isn’t believing. Believing is seeing.”
With our Museflower Winter Magic Week coming up soon, I hope you can experience this magic wherever you are in the world.
“12 Days of Meditation Magic” Details:

I recognize that my interpretation of the cards is largely based on reflections of my personal life experience and you may or may not resonate with what I share. I find that sometimes by sharing what’s going on in my life, others may find that they are going through something similar in their lives. It’s important to know that you are not going through this journey of life alone.
I highly encourage you to look at the cards as well and feel into the messages and energies of the cards yourself.
Read the messages and notice what sensations come up. Do you feel light or tense? Look at the images of the cards, and notice what draws your gaze. What thoughts and feelings arise? Do you like or dislike the card, or certain elements in the image of the card? Why is that and what does it remind you of?
Your intuition is your inner compass. My intuitive soul card reading only serves as a reference point, an invitation for you to reflect and ponder and to work your magic. I don’t claim to predict the future, nor can I do that. Take what you resonate and leave what you don’t.
Card reading is a great intuitive tool for us to find some clarity and guidance in our own life, but remember ultimately you are the one who get to decide and live the life you want.
Enjoy reading and feel free to let me know your thoughts, questions and sharing by email.
