“Bliss and joy come in moments of living our highest truth
— moments when what we do is consistent with our archetypal depths.
It’s when we are most authentic and trusting, and feel that whatever we are doing, which can be quite ordinary, is nonetheless sacred.”
~ Jean Shinoda Bolen, Author of “Gods in Everyman”
48. Following My Truth – Believing in and following my inner truth helps me live an authentic and empowered life.
In this lunar cycle we are reminded to stand in our own truth. Now this truth is not about who’s right and who’s wrong. This is about our own inner truth that helps us live as our authentic selves.
There are so many events happening in the world that sometimes we may feel like we are drowning in chaos. There are so many voices, opinions, views, narratives, and expectations on how things should be done, how problems should be resolved, how crises should be remedied, and how people should respond.
If you are feeling a sensory overload or just generally overwhelmed in your own life, it’s time to return to the inner stillness within.
Inside your heart, there lies your unique sanctuary. A place where there are both strength and softness, fierceness and kindness. A place where your inner masculine and feminine sing in harmony. Inside this place of stillness is where you can listen to your soul’s guidance – how is your soul calling you to be right now?
Sometimes, with everything going on around us, it is easy to feel guilty. Guilty of just being alive when there are people losing their home, their health and even lives in other parts of the world. How can we dance in joy when there is suffering all around us?
Remember this. Instead of guilt, focus on gratitude and the present moment. Instead of worry, devote yourself to trust and faith. Instead of feeling crippled on what you cannot do, focus on what you CAN do.
Listen to your inner truth through your intuition, your gut feeling, your heart’s calling, your soul’s guidance.
What matters to you right this moment? Only when you are centered and grounded, and see through the illusion of duality, then can you dance in the world with grace and wisdom.
By nourishing yourself, doing what you love, and allowing yourself to live the best version of you, you shine your light. And your light is what we need more in this world.
Your light is what heals.
I want to close this lunar cycle’s card reading with the wise words shared by Sarah Wilder, a soulpreneur, jewelry designer and creative business woman whom I follow. In her newsletter, she shared the following reminder which I resonated very strongly.
TRY THIS AFFIRMATION:
I follow my inner truth.
Repeat this affirmation as often as you need during this lunar cycle. A great tip is to write your affirmation on a piece of paper and place it somewhere you can see every day as a reminder.
You can refer to my blog here on a simple guideline on how to write your own affirmation here.
Feel free to change the words to make it 100% aligned to you.
I trust in my soul’s guidance.
I am strong and centered.
I believe in the Universe’s wisdom.
I stand by my inner truth / intuition.
I dance in joy.
I recognize that my interpretation of the cards is largely based on reflections of my personal life experience and you may or may not resonate with what I share. I find that sometimes by sharing what’s going on in my life, others may find that they are going through something similar in their lives. It’s important to know that you are not going through this journey of life alone.
I highly encourage you to look at the cards as well and feel into the messages and energies of the cards yourself.
Read the messages and notice what sensations come up. Do you feel light or tense? Look at the images of the cards, and notice what draws your gaze. What thoughts and feelings arise? Do you like or dislike the card, or certain elements in the image of the card? Why is that and what does it remind you of?
Your intuition is your inner compass. My intuitive soul card reading only serves as a reference point, an invitation for you to reflect and ponder and to work your magic. I don’t claim to predict the future, nor can I do that. Take what you resonate and leave what you don’t.
Card reading is a great intuitive tool for us to find some clarity and guidance in our own life, but remember ultimately you are the one who get to decide and live the life you want.
Enjoy reading and feel free to let me know your thoughts, questions and sharing by email.
